Registration for the Barrie Dragon Boat Festival is now open! Limited spots available!
Each team is required to raise $500.00 minimum for the charity of your choice. Please ensure that your team has chosen the charity you would like to fundraise for and is recorded on your team page no later than August 1st. You will give the money raised directly to the charity.
The team that raises the most money at the Barrie Dragon Boat Festival will be the recipient of the Barrie Dragon Boat Tim Hortons Cup.
To aid you with the registration process we have created manuals with step by step instructions. Please refer to the Team Captain Manual or Paddlers Manual for more information. Please refer to Registration Rules for more information on the Registration.

Catholic Family Services of Simcoe County
CFSSC is a local registered and accredited charity recognizing the need for preventative mental-health education and professional early-intervention for youth to prevent at-risk symptoms from escalating into crisis. We are working to bring these and other mental-health programs to area youth through our new YouthCALL program. Our participation in Barrie’s Dragon Boat Festival is a strategic investment in our youth. Your participation will help us reach and help more young lives.

Candlelighters Simcoe Parents of Children with Cancer
Supporting families of children/teens with cancer in Simcoe County and area. Candlelighters Simcoe provides programs and services “exclusively” for children with cancer and their families. Candlelighters Simcoe programs and services are aimed at needs of the entire family, and deal mainly with alleviating both the emotional and financial stress that families of children with cancer deal with on a daily basis. Our programs are facilitated by parents whose children have been diagnosed with cancer.

Breast Cancer Survivor Team Barrie’s Ribbons of Hope is a breast cancer survivor team based in Barrie, ON. Founded in 2003 our objective is to inspire and educate others while celebrating survivorship beyond breast cancer; we promote dragon boating as a healthy exercise that improves physical fitness and supports a healthy lifestyle. The Ribbons are a group of women ranging in age from 45-80 and their true goal is to celebrate and embrace life and have FUN in the process.
